Daniel 10:12 shows how to stand in faith in the end times: pray, humble yourself, stay in God’s Word, and refuse fear while you wait on Him.

Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.
Daniel 10:12

When I ask, “How is your posture in these end times?” I am asking whether your life shows that you are standing on God’s Word. Things are coming that we cannot stop. The question is not whether the world will change. The question is whether you will stand, pray, listen to God, and refuse to let fear move you.

How do I stand in faith in the end times?

You stand in faith by taking God’s Word seriously and letting it shape how you live now. I said in the message that the church cannot take God and His Word lightly and still expect God’s results.

Daniel wanted understanding about what was coming. He did not treat that desire casually. He humbled himself, prayed, and kept seeking God. Daniel 10:12 says, “Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.”

Notice that God heard him from the first day. Daniel’s posture was prayer, humility, and persistence. That is what I want you to see. If you want to know how to stand, start there.

You also have to know what went on then and what is going on now. I told the church that we have to bring those things together. The Word of God is important because it helps us understand where we are and how we should live.

Should Christians be afraid of what is coming?

No, Christians should not live in fear of what the Bible says is coming. I said plainly, “Don’t worry about what’s coming to the world. It’s coming. You can’t stop it.”

That does not mean we become careless. It means our fear is in the wrong place when all we think about is what may happen around us. I said what concerns me is standing before the judgment seat of Christ and answering for what I did with what Jesus did for me.

So I am not telling you to ignore the times. I am telling you to get your posture right. Pray. Stay in the Word. Preach the gospel. Keep doing what God has called you to do.

I said, “They can kill this body. They can do what they want with this body. I am not going to stop preaching the gospel.” That is the kind of determination I was calling for. Do not let fear stop you from obeying God.

What did Jesus do about spiritual powers?

Jesus defeated the spiritual rulers and authorities, so believers should stand in the victory He has already won. Colossians 2:15 says, “He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

Daniel’s experience showed a spiritual battle connected to his answer to prayer. I pointed out that Daniel waited 21 days. But when I brought the message forward to what Jesus has done, I said we have to understand the cross differently.

Jesus defeated the enemy once and for all. That is why I told the church to stop using our strength against one another and use the authority Jesus has given us against the devil’s deceptive ways.

Deception can make you use your own power against yourself. It can keep you blaming your pastor, your sister, your brother, or somebody else. But I said, “I’m not your problem.” Your posture has to change from fighting people to standing against deception.

How should I treat other believers while I wait for Jesus?

You should love, pray for, and reach out to other believers instead of tearing them down. I told the church that we belong to God and we belong to each other.

If somebody can say something and get you stirred up, I said that shows the flesh is still alive. The better response is to keep loving them. Do not let offense turn into gossip, bitterness, or prayer against another believer.

Think about the good things people have done. If someone has been missing, do not immediately decide they have walked away from God. Call them. Text them. Find out what is going on.

Daniel prayed for his people. I told the church, “You got to pray for your people.” That is part of our posture too.

Standing in faith in the end times is not only about watching prophecy. It is about how you pray, how seriously you take God’s Word, how you respond to fear, and how you treat people. Jesus has already won. Now stand like you believe it.
